Wacky, irreverent and as entertaining today as it was when it first opened in 1879, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE spins a hilarious farce of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, dewy-eyed daughters and an eccentric Major-General, all morally bound to the often-ridiculous dictates of honor and duty.

THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JUNIOR is a great show for a large ensemble with plenty of good singers. There are many great featured parts to showcase all talents and levels of ability - including some great roles for performers with comedic skills. You can always expand the cast by giving the Major General more daughters, or fill out the ranks of policemen. And if nothing else, your stage should be filled with lots of pirates!
