Molly Raynor THE CHRISTMAS TREE Drama 7F Interior set How a hard, selfish woman, who unintentionally invites some simple village folk to her house on Christmas Eve, discovers from their genuine friendliness and appreciation, what a wealth of warmth and humanity there is in the world and what a lot she has been missing. Out of this realisation she learns the true spirit of giving and at the end of the play it is clearly indicated that she is well towards saving her marriage which was on the rocks. There is a delightful atmosphere of Christmas throughout the play with plenty of laughs and amusing situations amongst the more serious moments.
