The Josef Weinberger Plays catalogue contains some of the finest new plays for performance, together with many classics of the contemporary theatre - some by authors of international acclaim, others by some of the most promising new writers working in the theatre today, and all worthy of your consideration. It also includes an extensive collection of pantomimes, many containing specially written music and others that leave the musical choices to directors to choose as they see fit. Either way, our pantomimes offer the ideal holiday entertainment for both professional and amateur companies alike.

Weinberger first moved into Plays in 1998 through agreements with the estate of Ferenc Molnár and the producer Paul Farrah. In 2000, we acquired the Warner Chappell Plays catalogue, which represents many important authors from both sides of the Atlantic, as well as the catalogue of New York's Dramatists' Play Service.

The first Josef Weinberger Plays catalogue was published in March 2001.
