The Mirror In 1997 a new musical, produced by Qdos Entertainment exploded onto the stage and became an instant hit! Based around British culture in the 1970s, the decade that taste forgot, Boogie Nights the 70s Musical told the heart-warming story of Roddy O'Neil, his friends, their lives, loves and experience of growing up in the DISCO decade. The backdrop to their story was over 30 1970s classic hits. Since its creation the show has enjoyed five national sell-out tours, a run in London's West End and people across the world dusted down their flares and hotpants as Boogie Nights hit the USA, Europe, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden! Well-known and talented artistes have performed in the show over the years including Shane Richie (who created the show alongside Jon Conway), Jimmy Osmond, Lisa Maxwell, Richard Calkin, Sam Kane and Sophie Lawrence. In 2007 the show embarked upon a limited 10th Anniversary Tour which starred 70s pop legend Alvin Stardust, Antony Costa (who shot to fame as a member of boy band Blue) and EastEnders' Nick Bailey. Boogie Nights the 70s Musical is not only an outstanding piece of musical theatre, it also gives the audience the perfect excuse to party to the greatest hits of the 1970s!
