Part of a collection of seven short plays originally commissioned by London’s Tricycle Theatre to stimulate discussion and debate on the on-going situation in Darfur. WORDS, WORDS, WORDS is set at a border checkpoint on the way to Darfur, where Kofi Annan struggles to complete a crossword clue with the help of a doctor, aid worker, peacekeeper and a journalist, to which the answer is ‘genocide’. Available in a volume entitled How Long is Never? Darfur - a response.
A percentage of all book sales and performance royalties are donated to the Aegis Trust, a leading independent international organisation dedicated to eliminating genocide.
