Lawrence Power plays Bowen's Viola Concerto

A work that is slowly making its way in to the repertoire of viola players, Bowen’s wonderfully lush concerto from 1908 will be given another outing by Lawrence Power, who has recorded this work for Hyperion.
The performance will be given with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Centre on Friday 3rd May at 7.30pm. It is on the programme alongside works of Walton and Vaughan Williams
