Paul Patterson in focus at Southbank New Year concert series

As part of this year’s “PLG Young Artists New Year Series”, which runs all week (5-9 January) at London’s Purcell Room (Southbank Centre), a masterclass and concert featuring the work of Paul Patterson forms “Paul Patterson Day”, starting at 6.15pm on Wednesday 7th.
The masterclass with Paul Patterson (free to ticketholders for the following concert) will focus on works by the composer including Conversations for clarinet and piano (which is available to buy HERE)
A concert at 7.45pm will feature several works by Paul Patterson - including the UK premiere of a piece written for the composer Krzysztof Penderecki and Diversions for saxophone quartet (buy HERE) - and other music chosen by the composer. Both Paul Patterson and Krzysztof Penderecki will be attending the concert, which promises to be quite an occasion!
