Mahler Retuschen

The Retuschen scores of Gustav Mahler are works by other composers that have been adapted and emebellished to make them more suitable for the modern concert hall, and they are available to hire exclusively from the Josef Weinberger Concert Library.

The Mahler Retuschen works include Beethoven’s third, fifth, seventh and ninth symphonies, as well as his second and third Leonore overtures, Smetana’s Bartered Bride and Schumann’s Manfred overtures. The most recent addition to the Retuschen catalogue is Schubert’s ninth symphony (D. 944), which is also now available to hire.
